Adge... a ray of sunshine!

Meet Adrienne! One of my childhood Arkansas friends.  She's pretty amazing.  I need as many prayers as you can possibly give for her.  She was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 26. TWENTY-SIX people. That's crazy!  She just found out a few weeks ago.  She had her first surgery today to remove lymph nodes under her arm (I think) so please pray they don't find any cancer in them.

Adrienne has a very free spirit and is FULL of positivity. She doesn't sweat the small stuff & loves life! I must say she is my favorite person to vacation with. By far. You don't get sick of her and she is constantly laughing.  She's a wonderful, loyal friend and would give the shirt off her back for ya. I know she will beat this!  I just request many many prayers.

Please ladies give yourself self breast exams.  Go get a mammogram even if your 25.  Back in 2009 I had been in for my annual OBGYN appointment and 2 months later I was giving myself a breast exam and found a lump.  I went in to my OBGYN.... they felt it.... referred me to the breast care center where I had a mammogram and ultrasound. Luckily it "appeared" benign.  Since then I have had about 4 other lumps appear.  I've been to the breast care center multiple times to get them evaluated with many ultrasounds.  I've been to see a surgeon who said he could take out the 2 largest or I could just have them evaluated every 6 months.  I would really rather avoid surgery and just have them checked 2/year.  The point of this story is.... if you feel anything that doesn't feel normal get it checked out... don't wait!

My heart hurts that such an amazing person has to go through this but I know if anyone can do it... she can! I love you so much Adge and know you have a mountain of prayers for YOU.  God's hand is over you and will never give you more than you can handle.
